Former Tigers inducted into Auburn Swim and Dive Hall of Fame

Six former Auburn swimmers and program coaches were inducted into the Auburn Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame as the Class of 2015 on Saturday, April 11, at Auburn Arena.

Former coach David Marsh, who led the Tigers from 1990-2007, guided Auburn to 12 NCAA Championships and 17 SEC titles.

Auburn’s top Olympic performer of all-time, Kirsty Coventry, and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Eric Shanteau were honored. Coventry was a two-time Olympic gold medalist and earned seven medals overall. Shanteau was an 11-time All-American and member of Auburn’s NCAA Championships team that won four consecutive titles from 2003-06.

Former coach Richard Quick was head coach at Auburn from 1979-82 and 2007-09. He led the Tigers to the 2009 NCAA men's title and three SEC Championships.

Former assistant coach Ralph Crocker led the program to eight NCAA and 10 SEC Championships along with a 102-3 dual meet record through seven full seasons.

Former assistant coach Jimi Flowers served as an assistant coach from 1984-89 and 1995-99.
