Update 10:28 a.m.: The National Weather Service has canceled the tornado watch for Lee County.
Two more rounds of severe weather are expected to move through Alabama from noon until 8 p.m. and from midnight to 7 a.m. Monday, April 19, according to the weather service.
7:42 a.m.: The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Lee County until 2 p.m.
The watch area also includes eastern Alabama, southwest and central Georgia and parts of the Florida Panhandle.
A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for the formation of tornadoes and severe thunderstorms.
The weather service said the storms moving through the area this morning bring a risk of damaging winds, a few tornadoes and isolated severe hail.
