Students and faculty of Auburn will soon be able to turn left onto Donahue Drive from War Eagle Way.
Construction will be taking place on the week of May 25 to restripe the road and remove signage.
According to Martha Koontz, communications and marketing specialist for facilities management, there is not an exact date set for the construction but it should only take one day.
The left turn lane has been closed because it was thought it would cause traffic congestion. However, Koontz said that a recent traffic study has found the turn lane would not congest traffic.
Koontz said she asks people act with caution when driving near the intersection during construction week.
