​Men's golf completes first round at NCAA championship

Auburn began its weekend at the NCAA Championship on Thursday, May 29.

The Tigers finished their rounds with a cumulative team score of 301.

The score, which is 13 over par at Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, puts Auburn in a tie for 18th place.

The Tigers were led by freshman Ben Schlottman, who scored a 2-over 74.

University of Southern California currently leads the competition at 1-over par.

Auburn’s tee times for Friday, May 29, have not yet been determined, as some teams have not finished Thursday’s competition.
