As pronounced Friday afternoon, June 26, former Auburn center, James Kiger has passed.
According to Alabama State Trooper Kevin Cook, James Kiger was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Dale County when he struck a guardrail and overturned off the roadway. Kiger was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident took place around 1:15 a.m.
The Daleville native was a member of Auburn's football team in 1995 and 1996.
