Police investigate burglary at fraternity house

A burglary occurred Saturday, Aug. 22 at a residence located in the 900 block of W. Magnolia Avenue, according to a press release from the Auburn Police Division. 

Officers responded Monday, Aug.24 after receiving a call that a backpack that contained over $1,500 worth of electronic devices was stolen.

The suspect and his vehicle were captured on video surveillance. 

"He appears to be a black male, early twenties, approximately 5 feet 8 inches - 6 feet tall and weighing between 180-220 pounds," the press release said. "The suspect was last seen wearing a red sleeveless shirt, dark jeans, a baseball cap and athletic shoes with white stripes."
