Yarbrough Tennis Center saw another pair of victories from the No. 55 Auburn men's tennis team (11-9) over Alabama A&M Saturday with a 4-0 score in both matches. Each contest began with singles play and was clinched without doubles.

Singles wins from Edward Nguyen (6-0, 6-0), Max Sivalls (6-1, 6-0) and Viboosh Chandrasekar (6-1, 6-0) set the tone before senior Joseph Van Dooren clinched the win with a 6-1, 6-3 victory.

In match two, Van Dooren (6-0, 6-0), Chandrasekar (6-0, 6-0) and Ollie Thestrup (6-0, 6-0) took wins in order before a 6-0, 6-1 from Brandon Laubser clinched the match for Auburn.

“Some guys got some match play in, which was good to see, and they performed well,” said Auburn coach Eric Shore. “Now we’ve got to get ready for tomorrow’s match with Vanderbilt.”

Auburn hosts SEC play's return to the Plains on Sunday, facing No. 49 Vanderbilt (12-10) with a 1 p.m. start at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
