As you already know, last spring the Student Government Association worked with Auburn Athletics to make a few changes to the student ticketing policy.
We’ve already seen some success come from these changes as all freshmen who wanted to purchase football tickets got them.
To top that, they all received six-game packages that included at least two SEC games.
I wanted to send out a few reminders regarding the other changes so that you have no questions on how to navigate game day come Sept. 3.
First, since Ignited Card IDs will be checked, I encourage you to get a new Ignited Card if there is any reason to doubt the picture on it is of you.
You can get a new Ignited Card at the Ticketing Office in the Auburn Arena Monday – Friday from 7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Your new Ignited Card will be free as long as you bring your old one with you.
Second, I wanted to clarify the process of getting a guest pass.
A number of guest tickets will be available for students to use to bring nonstudent friends, family, etc. into the student section.
This means that there is a chance that every student who requests a guest pass may not get one.
To give or receive a guest pass, a student must transfer their ticket to another student at https://cws.auburn.edu/ticketTransfer between noon on Sunday and 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday before the game.
Students will get guest passes on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be notified by Thursday morning if they have received a guest pass.
They will be able to pick up the guest pass and pay the upgrade fee between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday.
If there is a conflict with this time, students are encouraged to reach out to the Ticketing Office to schedule another pick-up time.

I also wanted to remind you that if you transfer more than four football tickets, you will not be eligible to buy student football tickets for the following season.
Remember, students will enter through Gates 5–8, and Gate 6 will be designated for any issues with IDs, swiping issues, and an entrance for those with guest passes.
Nonstudents entering with a guest pass MUST enter the stadium with the student who provided the pass.
These changes were made based on student feedback, safety concerns and a desire to ensure that tuition-paying Auburn students have priority in the student section.

The marching band, senior football players, coaches Gus Malzahn and Bruce Pearl, and many others will be there to get us all ready for the Clemson game on Saturday, Sept. 3.
