The Birmingham National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Lee County on Wednesday.
The warning remains in effect until 1:30 p.m. or until it is cancelled by the NWS. Lee County is also under a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Tornado Watch until 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Small tornadoes and other severe weather are possible, the NWS said.
