A train stalled on the tracks in downtown Auburn has traffic backed up for several blocks.
The train hit its brakes Wednesday night, leaving it stuck and blocking the major thoroughfares of North College Street, North Gay Street and North Donahue Drive.
Early reports suggest the train stopped due to a mechanical issue, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
No injuries have been reported.
