Auburn's Josh Anthony was named Southeastern Conference Player of the Week Monday following a brilliant four-game performance, including a series win over No. 16 Arkansas.
Anthony batted .688 (11-for-16) with three doubles, one homer and nine RBI over the past four games. He also scored six runs and stole two bases.
The junior recorded three hits on Friday, and a career-high four hits on Sunday's rubber match versus the Razorbacks.
Anthony is batting .298 on the season with 11 doubles, one homer and 26 RBI. He is hitting .297 in SEC play with six doubles, one homer and 10 RBI.
Anthony is the fourth Tiger to be honored by the SEC this season joining Keegan Thompson, Davis Daniel and Will Holland.
