Auburn Police have arrested an Auburn man charging him with two counts of burglary and two counts of property theft.
The arrest was made on Thursday, July 13 after investigations by the Auburn Police Division led them to Jean Long, 27.
On June 23, burglaries occurred at a business and storage building on Bee Hive Road.
According to the victims, power tools and lawn equipment were stolen after forced entry. Stolen items are valued at over $2,300. The stolen property has been recovered, APD said.
Long was located and taken into custody in Opelika with help from the Opelika Police Department. Long was transported to Lee County Jail and remains in custody on a $9,000 bond.
