Auburn gained its third commitment of the summer late Tuesday night, as four-star safety Quindarious Monday committed to the Tigers.
Monday, a rising senior at Carver High in Atlanta, announced his decision on Twitter.
“First off I would like to thank God for letting me play the game of football at a very high level and I will like to thank my parents for supporting me through the process,” Monday wrote.
“This have been a tough process and a very hard decision, but after sitting down with my parents I am 100% committed to Auburn University.”
Monday chose Auburn over Clemson, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, among others.
"Boom!!!!!!!!! This class is going to be special! War Eagle!" Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn tweeted following Monday's announcement.
The 6-foot-4, 175-pound defensive back is the eighth recruit to commit to Auburn in the 2018 class. He is just the second defensive player, however, joining junior college defensive lineman Daquan Newkirk.
Monday is ranked as the No. 30 safety in the 2018 class and No. 28 overall player in Georgia by Rivals.
