Kickoff time announced for Auburn vs. Ole Miss

No. 13 Auburn will face off against the Ole Miss Rebels at the Tigers' earliest kick-time of the young season.

The Tigers and Rebels will clash at 11 a.m. CT in Jordan-Hare Stadium in Week 5. Ole Miss (2-1) will be coming off a visit to No. 1 Alabama the week prior. Auburn (3-1, 1-0 SEC) hosts No. 24 Mississippi State this weekend in Jordan-Hare. Ole Miss will be the second of a two-game homestand for the Tigers, and the third of a three-game road trip for the Rebels.

Ole Miss handled their first two opponents of the season, South Alabama and Tennessee-Martin, but fell on the road in Week 3 to the California Golden Bears.

The Rebels are led by QB Shea Patterson, who was pegged early in the year as a dark horse Heisman candidate. Patterson carved up USA and UT-Martin with a combined 918 yards passing, nine touchdowns and only one interception through the first two games of the year. The sophomore struggled against Cal however, completing 26-of-44 passes for with two touchdowns to three picks.

The SEC contest will be broadcasted by either ESPN, ESPN2 or the SEC Network. The exact channel will be announced following the conclusion of the Week 4 games.

Auburn leads the all-time series against Ole Miss, 30-11, and has won six of the last eight. The Tigers won in Oxford last season 40-29, behind runningback Kamryn Pettway's career-high 236 yards on 30 carries.
