Auburn is headed back to Atlanta.
Following a 28-7 loss to Georgia in the SEC championship game, the Tigers were selected on Sunday to play in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl where they will face the undefeated American Athletic Conference champions, Central Florida.
The Knights have been one of the biggest stories of the season, going unbeaten in the AAC with one of the highest scoring offenses in the nation. Scott Frost, who was in his second year at the helm in Orlando, has agreed to become the next coach at his alma mater, Nebraska. He will, however, coach UCF in the bowl game.
Auburn is now set up to play three consecutive games in Atlanta. They played Georgia Saturday night in the conference championship, they will play UCF in the Peach Bowl on New Year’s Day, and they play Washington in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game to open the 2018 season.
Kickoff for the Peach Bowl is set for 11:30 CT inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Jan. 1 of 2018. The game will be televised on ESPN.
