Free Chick-fil-A for an entire year and coaching under Bo Jackson are among this year’s prizes for the Alpha Tau Omega’s powder puff and flag football event.
ATO is aiming to raise money for the Lutzie 43 Foundation. All proceeds will go back into Auburn University to support the Philip Lutzenkirchen Excellence in Public Speaking Award, which is given out through Auburn’s School of Communication and Journalism.
Students who participate can form a team of seven to 12 players and register for $50. There are women’s and men’s events, and the tournament will be held over two days, April 6 – 7.
Beginning the first day at 2:30 p.m., those participating or watching can gather at the Auburn Indoor Practice Facility. Jordan-Hare Stadium, however, will be the playing field for the championships on the second day of the event.
This event serves as a fundraising event for ATO, and each team will have their own fundraising event. The top two teams will win the prizes.
For female students who want to register for powderpuff, they can register here.
For the male 7 by 7 event, students can register here.
