Bo Jackson donates four motorcycles to the Auburn Police Division

Former Auburn University football player Bo Jackson donated four 2016 Honda ST1300 PAG motorcycles to the Auburn Police Division.

Two years ago, Jackson blew a tire on his bike during the Bo Bikes Bama event and two officers waited for him. He noticed the bikes were older and promised to help with transportation.

He donated the bikes on April 26. Two of the motorcycles were purchased with grant funds through the Alabama Law Enforcement Association and now the APD has six in use.

“We’re honored to receive this gift, and we extend our gratitude to Bo Jackson and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency for helping equip our officers with the tools they need to respond quickly to emergencies and keep our community safe,” said Public Safety Director Bill James.
