City of Auburn allowing hazardous waste disposal, mass recycling today at service complex

Auburn residents can dispose of their household waste, recycle in bulk at the location until 2 p.m. today

The city of Auburn is allowing its residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste today at its Environmental Service Complex, located at 365 N. Donahue Drive in Auburn, Alabama.

The Hazardous Waste Collection Day, which lasts until 2 p.m. CST, allows residents to recycle bulk cans, cardboard or newspapers along with household waste. The Auburn Environmental Services Department will also accept paper documents for secure, on-site shredding as well as computers/electronics.

Residents are allowed 20 pounds of waste per household to dispose. Proof of Auburn residency can be provided with a recent water bill or a similar document.
