Twenty-one aisles of commodities await the hungry, hurried and healthy at Kroger, and the store’s ability to satisfy each need makes it the top grocery store in Auburn.
For the hungry, there’s a delicious deli hosting bundles of shrink-wrapped hams, each drizzled or doused in flavors like hickory smoke, wildflower honey and tangy cajun. Beside the hams, there are cheeses — an abundance of them. The enticing setup garners plenty of customers and is popular with students. If the deli doesn’t convince, however, head to the meat and seafood section where lobster and crawfish neighbor fresh slabs of steak and chicken.
Customizable burritos, bowls, pizzas
After satisfying savory taste buds, Kroger can also subdue the sweet ones with its own bakery, giving the store major bonus points with their decadent cheesecake and cinnamon rolls.
For the hurried, 12 self-checkout lanes quicken the transaction process.
For the healthy, Kroger has a Live Naturally section, containing gluten free, organic and meat alternative products. Vast selections in whey protein, and protein bars are also available in this section.
Kroger is champion of Auburn grocery stores.
