Police arrested Auburn resident Isaiah John Baker, 18, on Wednesday, on felony warrants charging him with third-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree theft of property, according to a release from the Auburn Police Division.
A burglary and two thefts were reported to police on Feb. 12 from homes on Mimms Lane and Lee Road 672. Police said in both cases, someone entered the residences when no one was there and stole firearms.
The 18-year-old was developed as a suspect by police, they said, and was an acquaintance of both victims. According to police, the weapons were recovered and are valued at over $1,000.
Baker was transported to the Lee County Detention Facility, where he was being held on a $9,000 before making bond.
