The Plainsman's Choice for Best Wings: Wing Town

New to Auburn, Wing Town offers great wings at a great price

There is a never-ending supply of wing restaurants, but one of the newest stops in town has quickly made a name for itself as the best place to get inexpensive, mouth-watering flats and drums.

Located on South College Street in an unimposing shopping center in front of Walmart, Wing Town offers nearly a dozen wing flavors with 10-piece combos starting at the college-friendly price of $8.25.

Customers could pay upward of $15 for a similar serving of wings at other wing places.

The smell of freshly cooked wings meets the hungry at the door. And, don’t worry, wings are served up with haste.

The wings, though somewhat small compared to some places, are fried to crispy perfection, served hot and doused in some of the best sauces in town. From traditional Southern-style buffalo sauces to honey-BBQ and teriyaki, Wing Town has it all.

All of the flavors are tasty, but the medium flavor at Wing Town is sure to satisfy those who like tangy wings but want to keep their lips intact.

Everyone knows that good wings go best with good fries, and Wing Town doesn’t disappoint here, either. The combos served at Wing Town come with a sizeable serving of french fries covered in a flavorful seasoning salt.

Those who are searching only for a plate of steaming, wallet-friendly wings, Wing Town sits at the top of the list.
