Freshman quarterback Ezekiel (Zeke) Price Pike was arrested for public intoxication early Sunday morning at 12:50 a.m. on South College St. He was released on a $300 bond according to the Lee County Sheriff’s department.

Pike has been in Auburn since January and participated in practice all spring. The 19-year-old quarterback is competing for a starting spot against junior Clint Moseley and sophomore Kiehl Frazier.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound quarterback from Edgewood was heavily recruited out of Dixie Heights High School.

He was suspended for his senior-year season opener for reportedly being ejected in a playoff game his junior year and also was suspended at his final high school for undisclosed reasons.

This was his first arrest.

This is seriously all of the relevant information about this incident that you can include? Two sentences about the arrest with zero details about what happened and then the rest is about how long he's been in Auburn, his height, weight and hometown?
