The lack of student participation did not lead to the end of Operation Catnap. That's an outright lie. It may have played a very small part, but other factors led to the end of the program. Dr. Griffin is no longer at Auburn. I wonder why she left about the same time the program ended?

Agree w/ Buschmaster....self-policing of your own is a good indicator of remorse and unity. If Muslims don't decry 9/11, they are just as guilty of supporting terrorism as the Muslims (yes, they were Muslims, with mothers, daughter, brothers, and sisters just like us) that murdered Americans and others by piloting the aricraft into the buildings.

I know the william's family and this little fellow was a great guy. It makes me very angry that you can just easily post a comment that is so unclassy and heartless and never be held accountable for anything you say. You can just have a computer with internet with a password and you are allowed to say anything and never have to show your face for your comments. As a parent myself, you always hope they do the things you teach them but you can't be with them 24/7. You just pray they remember and are always safe. Next time you post something so heartless- I hope you post your correct address and phone number so that we can tell you personally how great of a fellow you just commented on and how he will be missed everyday for the rest of our lives.

In reference to alumkjh comment about the seatbelt. While you might be correct you are also an insensitive jerk. You take a great story about a wonderful young man and a member of the Auburn Family, and someone I knew personally and taint it with your thoughtless post. I can only hope the alum in your post name stands for alum of Alabama. I hope you never experience the loss this family has - but maybe if you did it would change your heart and attitude. God blees peyton's family.

I understand that this is an article to make one think, but lets think about that 2% increase in survival. That's 7 more mothers, daughters, wives and friends that are surviving every day.

I know we all want to have nice, fancy new things, but every time a building is torn town we lose a little bit more of our history.
How many generations of Auburn Engineers have passed through L-building (including the infamous tunnel), the shops or Dunstan Hall. Not to mention almost every Auburn student has set foot in Parker at some point.
Some of these buildings may be deteriorated to the point where they can't be saved. That's sad, and a lesson for Auburn's future that we need to quit "deferring" maintenance on buildings and take care of what we already have.
