Q: When and where is Up All Night? What is planned for each night?
A: Up All Night will be held in the library and student center during the week of finals. It will be in the Newspaper Reading Room on the first floor of the library and the second floor of the student center. We will be handing out doughnuts, juice and Scantrons starting at midnight each night.
Q: What parts of Up All Night do students seem to look forward to the most? What parts get the most participation?
A: Anytime there is free food involved, students will be there! They love the doughnuts, and Scantrons are helpful during exams.
Q: Will there be anything new during this year’s Up All Night?
A: This is the first time we are using D Square Donuts!
Q: What does Up All Night do to give tired students that extra boost to keep them going?
A: It gives students a quick study break and serves as a pick-me-up during the long hours of studying.
Q: What is the atmosphere like at the library all night during exam week?
A: Lots of students pull all-nighters, so the library is very busy. The atmosphere can be stressful, so we try to lighten the mood.
Q: What are some good study tips for exam week that you’ve picked up during your years at Auburn and your time with Up All Night?
A: Effective studying is all about time management. It can be overwhelming to study that much material, so break it into chunks, and take breaks. Facebook is not the best break. Going on a walk or standing up to stretch can be good breaks. Also, get some sleep!
Q: If you were to write an exam survival guide, what would be the top three things on the list?
A: A quiet environment, a good snack and relaxing music
