Pop! Goes the People!

By L. Don Oliver

All around the tax tree,

Politicians propagandize the sleeple;

Politicians get what they've planned for,

Pop! goes the People;

Matters not who's elected,

The citizens will always be sheeple,

When there comes any glimmer of hope,

Pop! goes the people;

Close down all the plants,

So none can be keeple;

Send them all overseas,

Pop! goes the people;

Several trillion for the Big Boys,

One hundred billion for the sleazle;

That's where the borrowed money goes,

Pop! goes the people;

All around Old Washington Town,

The Status Quo's in a teeheekle,

The Elite In Crowd continues to laugh,

Pop! Goes the people;
