We encourage students to come volunteer with us. Meetings are held weekly for volunteers at our office in the Student Center Suite 1111. Please stop by on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. to pick up an assignment in the writing, photography or multimedia field. Section editors will work with you to make this an enjoyable and learning experience. Interviews for staff members are held before each semester.

Please note that although the job descriptions for Account Executive and Production Artist may express a preference for candidates with particular experience, The Plainsman will hire and train students with no experience if they possess the personal attributes and skills that indicate the potential for success. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply. All applicants must have at least one year remaining before graduation.
