Breast cancer survivor aided by Auburn students

A paintbrush and a palette of rainbow colors is not your typical cancer patient’s badge of honor. But for 35-year-old cancer survivor Kristen Hunt flowers on a canvas mean more than just art.
Within weeks of relocating to Auburn from Columbus, Hunt was diagnosed with breast cancer in a routine mammogram exam and underwent a double mastectomy.

The 2007 Auburn offense will be propelled by returning senior quarterback Brandon Cox, but the strength of this year’s team can be found in the running back core.
Auburn boasts a terrific group of backs including leading returning rusher Brad Lester, emerging star Mario Fannin, Ben Tate and Tristan Davis, who played defensive back last season.

Fall has always brought me mixed emotions. Although it’s technically still summer we’re heading back to classes to begin our 2007 Fall Semester.
I’m always excited about another football season and a fresh semester of classes but the end of summer has always been sad for me.

New mandatory dining for students

Beginning fall 2008, all Auburn students will be required to invest money in a new on campus dining debit plan. The mandatory action stems from Auburn’s latest change, a new multi-year agreement with Chartwells, a division of Compass Group, the world’s largest food service provider.
