Seven new strangers have been picked to live in a house and have their lives taped for the 20th season in a row.  

MTV’s “The Real World” reality show is the network’s longest running series and returned for round number 20 April 16.  

This latest season of the show was filmed in Hollywood, Calif., in a seven story, 105,000 square foot building.

Faithful fans of the show are excited about this season of seven fresh strangers.

Auburn students “got down” during this week’s SGA campaigns and elected Sarah Beth Brown as the 2008 Miss Auburn. 

Brown, a junior in Spanish, was thrilled to accept the honor.

With finals lurking around the corner, students will go to great lengths to achieve that extra edge to help them ace those end of the semester exams.  However, students often overlook one tool to help them study and perform better on exams: brain food.

Whether the culprit is late nights on the town or late nights in the library, important hours of sleep are sacrificed every night by Auburn students.  

  “I think that the vast majority of the students we see as patients are in a sleep deprived state,” Dr. Fred Kam, the director of the Auburn University Medical Clinic, said.

The honeymoon period in the semester is over, as most students are facing their first round of tests.  

    “It seems like this is the time in the semester when everyone’s tests hit at the same time, which changes the entire atmosphere on and off campus,” said Jacob Dorsett, a junior in business. 

Growing up, many have heard the old adage “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.”
However, during the transition from living under parental supervision where healthy meals, clean clothes, regular check ups at the doctor and eight hours of sleep are encouraged, many college students seem to have forgotten how to keep the doctor away.
