A Tiger Transit hit a black Chevrolet Tahoe while turning onto Roosevelt Drive this afternoon.

Wayne Dickens, director of high school ministries for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, was waiting to turn south on Donahue Drive when the No. 776 transit scraped him as it was turning east onto Roosevelt Drive at approximately 1:55 p.m.

The Tahoe was parked several feet beyond the white line that marks where cars are supposed to stop while waiting to turn south on Donahue Drive, said Jeff Alexander, a Tiger Transit supervisor. Alexander said the Tahoe was impeding the intersection.

No one was injured during the accident.

The front left bumper of the Tahoe was dented by the bus and the bumper of the bus was scratched.

The hillbilly comment was NOT necessary! The Tiger Transit is known to EVERYBODY that has anything to do with Auburn. So, if you don't know what that is, you can find out for yourself- but, DON'T attack somebody else because of your lack of knowledge.

tiger transit seems to be hiring drivers that simply do not know the ABC's of the road. It Goes like this" When in doubt you give the other car the right of way"

If the other driver was thier first, then you arrive second and plowed the bus into the first car ,then I think the bus is at fault for causing the accident in the first place.just calling it like I see it.

I think it would have been better to get an unbiased source, not one that is (like the Tiger Transit representative; what did you expect him to say?).

Ask a police officer next time to get a more objective look into the situation.

And what is a Tiger Transit? A bus? Extra nouns can't hurt. It makes the author seem like a redneck, which he probably is no doubt.

Let's try to cite sources in our work next time. This paper is pure garbage.

If you are going to have a large vehicle, at least learn how to drive it and pay attention to the road markings. Derrrr.

Seriously?

Maybe a story on what the board of trustees was discussing this morning....

Just a thought.
