Anders Carlson became the fifth Auburn Tiger off the board in the 2023 NFL Draft, being selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round with the 207th overall pick. Carlson became the second Tiger to be taken by the Packers in this draft, joining Colby Wooden who was selected in the fourth round.

Auburn University has developed a unique culture full of memorable sayings, pregame celebrations and postgame celebrations. Students are quickly immersed into it the second they show their support for the Tigers. They are met with a smile and a “War Eagle.” For freshmen or new students though, they may not be as familiar with these traditions and could be confused at first.

For the majority of the fall semester, there will always be something to do on Saturday: watch or attend an Auburn football game. Auburn athletics have created a fun, exciting game day experience from having tailgates prior to the game, to the eagle flying before kickoff. Though it is exciting, game day can be intimidating for one who has not attended a football game before.
