I am having a difficult time trying to explain what seems to be so simple. I don’t know how to explain to the Auburn University Honors College that equating the platforms of the Auburn White Student Union and Black Student Union is, at best, a tone deaf response to a series of poor decisions.
Donald Trump secured the magic number of 270 electoral votes to secure the Presidency. Hillary Clinton fell short of 270, but received over two million more individual votes than Trump.
President Donald Trump’s State of the Union was hollow in light of his actions and absent of an honest and genuine analysis of the State of our Union.
The president of the United States referred to several sovereign nations as “shithole” countries, a statement that’s evidence of an identity crisis our nation is currently enduring: The realization that we may not be the best dog in the fight anymore.
It takes a village.
Political disappointment didn’t seem to discriminate this year.
Some may say it began with Charlottesville. Or with Baltimore. Or possibly New Orleans, Gainesville or Durham.
