Auburn Police have arrested Kwentavious Boyd, 27 from Opelika, charging him with burglary to the third degree and theft of property to the first. The arrest was made on Aug. 10, after investigations began concerning a burglary on June 22.
The burglary occurred at a residence in the 300 Block of Genelda Avenue. According to the victim, someone entered the residence stole a variety of property valued at over $2,600.
Mobile Police took Boyd into custody on Aug. 5 and he was extradited back to Auburn on Aug. 10. Boyd is being held at Lee County Jail on an $8,000 bond.
