Following its 40-17 win over No. 1 Georgia, Auburn took a big step in its 2018 recruiting class on Tuesday.

Four-star defensive back Christian Tutt committed to Auburn over Ohio State ahead of his U.S. Army All-American Bowl jersey presentation at Thomson (Ga.) High School on Tuesday afternoon. Tutt is now the 15th member of Auburn's 2018 class, which entered the day ranked No. 19 in the country.

Tutt, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound defensive back, took his official visit to Auburn over the weekend.

Tutt is ranked as the No. 24 prospect in Georgia and the No. 25 cornerback in the country.
