You can register to vote until Monday at 11:59 p.m.

With the Dec. 12 U.S. Senate special election just three weeks away, you still have some time left to register to vote. The deadline to register online is Monday, Nov. 27, at 11:59 p.m.

Eligible voters can register to vote online through the Secretary of State's online voter registration application. You can also register to vote at your local Board of Registrar's Office by 5 p.m. The Lee County Board of Registrars Office is located in Opelika on the first floor of the  Lee County Courthouse.

You can also print a voter registration form and submit it through the mail as long as it is postmarked by Nov. 27.

Other reminders:

  • If you are registered in your home county, the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is Thursday, Dec. 7. Contact your local absentee election manager for more information. For more information,  click here.
  • If you have an Auburn address, you can update your registration and move it to Lee County so you can vote in Auburn on election day.
