Brothers Osborne, Blane Rudd to perform at Country Rocks The Plains Concert

Country Music Association Vocal Duo for 2017, Brothers Osborne, will take The Plains prior to A-Day.

The Hudson Family Foundation and Auburn University Athletics are partnering to host Country Rocks The Plains concert and A-Day Pep Rally. The concert and pep rally are free to the public and will take place on the Green Space.

Blane Rudd will be joining the entertainment lineup alongside Brothers Osborne. The Auburn University Marching Band, the Auburn Cheerleaders and Aubie will lead the pep rally.

"I think it is a great opportunity to expand the foundation and to partner with Auburn University," said Brent Hall, representative for the foundation. "We felt like there wasn't a lot of activities over the A-Day weekend around the football game itself."

Hall said Brothers Osborne is excited to play in the college setting and are big fans of football.

They raise funds for their efforts through initial personal investment, person donors, grants, corporate sponsorship and events.

Pit tickets are available for $30, the gates open at 6 p.m. and the festivities begin at 7 p.m. Hall said there are limited pit tickets to be sold. Food, drink and Budweiser products will be available for purchase.
