The softball team pulled off a 2-1 comeback victory over Samford Wednesday, Feb. 13 to extend its record to 6-0 on the season.
It was a tight game that stayed tied at 0 until the top of the fifth inning when Samford's Casey Clark hit a RBI double to center field to send Abby Adams in to take the lead for the Bulldogs.
Auburn then rallied in the bottom of the sixth when McKenzie Kilpatrick singled to left, sending in Tiffany Howard for the tying run. Caitlin Jordan then singled through the left side, sending Morgan Estell in for the winning run.
The Tigers will return to action Thursday, Feb. 14 against Indiana State at 6 pm.
