Langham

Auburn picked up its last commitment for the 2018 class this afternoon.

Defensive end Malik Langham announced his commitment to Auburn. Langham is a four-star recruit out of Lee in Huntsville, Alabama.

According to 247 sports, Langham is the No. 222 player nationally, No. 9 defensive end, and No. 6 player in the state of Alabama. Nationally, was the highest rated defensive end left on the board this afternoon.

Langham had offers from Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, and Vanderbilt as well as Auburn. Alabama was the favorite leading up to signing day, but Auburn ended up pulling the surprise.

As a senior at Lee, Langham recorded 104 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 11 sacks and 23 quarterback hurries. He was named Alabama’s 5A lineman of the year.

Langham stands at almost 6-foot-6 tall and weights 269. Auburn projects to stay on the outside at end in college.
