Auburn head football coach Gus Malzahn and Alabama head football coach Nick Saban will play in the Lutzie 43 Foundation's first annual Lutzie 43 Invitational on May 24 in Sylacauga.
Teams will compete in an 18-hole "scramble style" tournament and ach team will play one hole of golf with the coaches.
ESPN and ABC’s Tom Rinaldi will emcee a dinner program and a fireside chat with Coach Saban and Coach Malzahn.
The event will benefit the Lutzie 43 Foundation, which was established in memory of former Auburn tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen. The foundation "aims to develop the character of young people and their mentors by focusing on leadership, charity, compassion, mentorship, hard work, honesty and faith."
The event will be held at Farmlinks Golf Club at Purcell Farms from 10 a.m.-7:15 p.m.
