A Twitter executive and an Army general, both Auburn graduates, will speak at the spring commencement ceremonies Saturday and Sunday, May 7-8, in the Auburn Arena, according to a University release.
Twitter Vice President of Data Strategy Chris Moody will speak Saturday at a 10 a.m. ceremony for the colleges of Human Sciences and Liberal Arts and at a 2 p.m. ceremony for the colleges of Nursing; Engineering; and Architecture, Design and Construction, the release states. Army Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III, who retired May 1 having served most recently as commander of U.S. Central Command, will speak Sunday at a 1 p.m. ceremony for the colleges of Agriculture and Business; and University College and at a 2 p.m. ceremony for the colleges of Sciences and Mathematics; and Education; and the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences.

Approximately 3,793 new graduates will receive diplomas.
