'Critical Conversations' adds Dr. Howard Ross

The next event in the University’s ongoing Critical Conversations speech series will feature Dr. Howard Ross discussing Unconscious Bias.

Ross is a lifelong social justice advocate and considered one of the world’s seminal thought leaders on identifying and addressing Unconscious bias, according to Cook Ross.

Ross has authored three books including the Washington Post best seller "Everyday Bias: Identifying and Navigating Unconcious Judgements in Our Daily Lives," "Reinventing Diversity: Transforming Organizational Community to Strengthen People, Purpose and Performance" and will release "Our Search for Belonging: How the Need for Connection is Tearing Our Culture Apart" in 2018.

Ross has delivered programs in 47 states and over 40 countries and has led programs at Harvard University Medical School, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University and over 20 other colleges and universities according to Cook Ross.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in history and education from the University of Maryland and completed post graduate work in leadership and management at Wheelock College.

Ross will speak Monday, September 25th at 5 p.m. in Mell 2550.
