Burgmans and Michaud named ITA All-Americans

After a season full of historic firsts for the Auburn tennis team, Pleun Burgmans and Alizee Michaud finished the season ranked ninth, which is a the highest finish for a doubles team in Tiger women’s tennis history. Because of their finish, Burgmans and Michaud were named ITA All-Americans.

The duo finished the season 14-6 (9-4 SEC), which included a record of 8-4 against ranked opponents. Burgmans and Michaud also advanced to the second round of the NCAA Doubles Tournament.

Burgmans wraps up her time at Auburn with three consecutive All-American honors, and is the all-time leader in doubles victories with 107. Burgmans is also the only player in Auburn history to advance to the NCAA Doubles Tournament four times. This is the first season that Michaud has been named an ITA All-American.
