The coaches' 2016 All-SEC teams were announced Tuesday, and Auburn had six players named to the first and second teams.
Running back Kamryn Pettway and defensive end Carl Lawson earned spots on the first team, as did kicker Daniel Carlson, who was named to the first team for the second consecutive year. Guards Alex Kozan and Braden Smith, along with defensive tackle Montravius Adams, were named to the second team.
Alabama led the way with 11 representatives, including seven on the first team. LSU had the second-most with nine players, and Auburn's six selections were tied with Florida and Texas A&M for the third-most.
Pettway finished sixth in the conference in rushing with 1,123 yards, but he didn't play in four games this season.
Lawson tied for third in the SEC in sacks with nine, and he had 28 tackles.
Carlson, a finalist for the Lou Groza Award, connected on 26 of his 30 field goal attempts with a long of 53 yards, and hit every one of his 43 extra points.
