The Auburn Family is more than current students and alumni. There are thousands of people who contribute and work humbly and tirelessly to make Auburn the experience that it is. This Thanksgiving, we want to bring those people into the light and thank them for all the unseen hours, unthanked tasks and unquenchable loyalty to the Auburn Family.

We need to analyze our mindset toward women's athletic teams at Auburn. They are included in Auburn's identity of an "everything school." They are not secondary. Cheer for them too, learn their names too and be invested in their games too. 

EDITORIAL | Deconstructing the idealism of college-required internships

It would be better for Auburn to do away with internship requirements. While internships are a socially accepted pathway to a career, they are more beneficial to students as a resume builder instead of a nitpicking degree requirement. Colleges ought to focus on investing in career fairs and preparing students for internships.

The City of Auburn has recently approved plans for an apartment complex with units starting at $2 million, directly across from Toomer’s. It has been met with wild disapproval from the city's constituents, and it causes us to question whether or not Auburn is expanding beyond its identity of "The Loveliest Village on the Plains."

Having produced 12 of Auburn’s 22 national championships, including six in equestrian, five in swimming & diving and one in track & field, and winning Olympic medals in multiple sports, it is obvious that they are.
