Diving into Auburn's game day glamour

For Auburn students, choosing a game day outfit is almost as important as selecting their seat in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The game day traditions that Auburn celebrates have many elements, but navy and orange outfits remain the core of game day culture and school spirit. Every year, southern boutiques across town stock up on trending clothes, new sunglasses and creative game day pins to help students create the “Auburn look” that the campus is known for.

Second-hand styles: Exploring Auburn’s thrift store scene

College is a time for self-exploration and finding oneself. Whether students are decorating their own apartment or preparing for their first night out, there are so many ways to learn about their likes and dislikes. To do this on a student budget can be tricky, however. Thankfully, Auburn has no shortage of thrift stores carrying everything possible, from t-shirts to kitchenware to CDs.

University holds 13th annual Fashion Event

Auburn University held the 13th annual Fashion Event on Friday, April 12, at the Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. The event was hosted by the Department of Consumer and Design Sciences within the College of Human Sciences and the Apparel Merchandising and Design Association. This year’s theme was The Silver Screen, inspired by old Hollywood glamor.

Rebecca Schneider’s sketch to success

Rebecca "Bex" Schneider, an Auburn apparel design alumna, owns a fashion illustration business in New York City. Xo, Bex Studio is known for its vibrant drawings and creating a meaningful connection between Schneider and her clients. From sketching Vogue parties to Vera Wang, Schneider has made a name for herself in the realm of fashion artistry.
