Junior Bradley Langston died in a one-car accident early Saturday morning

The Auburn student body is mourning the loss of 21-year-old Lakeland, Fla. native Bradley Langston, a junior in building science and member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

Auburn Assistant Police Chief Tommy Dawson said Langston was injured in a one-car accident on Shug Jordan Parkway in which his car veered off the road and he was ejected from his vehicle early Saturday morning.

Captain Tom Stofer of the Auburn Police Department said units were dispatched to the accident Saturday at 12:59 a.m.

"He had severe injuries as a result of the accident and was transported by Life Flight to Columbus Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries," Dawson said.

Dawson said the incident is still under investigation and there is no indication that alcohol was involved.

"My prayers go out to the Langston family," Chris Hart, spokesman for Beta Theta Pi, said. "He was a great guy, always smiling."

Alex Johns, a sophomore in marketing, said he has been roommates with Langston since last fall.

"I miss him," Johns said. "It's not the same without him around the house at all."

Senior Trenton McLeod died early Sunday morning at his job at Moore's Mill Club

Auburn University is mourning the loss of a second student who died in a separate accident over the weekend.

Auburn Assistant Police Chief Tommy Dawson said Prattville native Trenton McLeod, 23, was injured in a tractor accident at his job at Moore's Mill Club early Sunday morning.

Dawson said emergency units responded to the incident around 7:15 a.m.

"He was transported by Life Flight to Columbus Medical Center and succumbed to his injures, unfortunately," Dawson said.

Dawson said the incident is still under investigation.

McLeod was a senior in building science and member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

"We just ask that all the students and the faculty continue to keep his family and friends in their thoughts and prayers as they endure this tragic event," said Paul Pinyan, adviser of Alpha Gamma Rho.

Brittany Wiginton, a senior in business administration, said Trent got along with everyone.
