It's simple.

Katie Williams, a junior in apparel merchandising, said she printed off pictures she captured on her trip to Europe and had them enlarged and framed.
Instead of purchasing those pricey home decor pictures, she was able to save money by using her own pictures and purchasing frames from Target for only $20.
The Media and Digital Resource Laboratory in RBD Library is also a good place to have pictures enlarged to poster size.
Relatives and friends are always willing to give away old furniture, but before you decline their offer think about the endless possibilities.
Ashley Strickland, a junior in interior design, said that her grandparents gave her an old chair which she repainted and reupholstered.
"It was very easy to do, and I saved a few bucks while doing it," Strickland said.
This task is simple. Unscrew the cushion from the chair and paint the chair with the color of your choice. A gallon of semi-gloss paint ranges from $15- $26.50 at Lowe's Home Improvement.
While the paint is drying, reupholster the cushion with a nice printed fabric which is available at Hobby Lobby for $2.99-8.99 per yard. Secure the fabric by stapling it to the cushion with a staple gun and finally screw the cushion back to the repainted chair.
So before spending all that money on a $300 chair, visit your local thrift store, pick out a chair and make it your own.
