Halftime update from Sanford Stadium

ATHENS, Ga. -- At the half at Sanford Stadium, Auburn leads the University of Georgia 14-7.

The Tigers controlled the first quarter, scoring two touchdowns to take a 14-0 lead.

Senior quarterback Chris Todd was nine for 10 with two touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Junior wide receivers Kodi Burns and Terrell Zachary were the recipients of Todd's two touchdown passes.

Auburn's defense held the Bulldogs to five total yards in the first and zero first downs.

Auburn's offense accumulated 145 total yards in the first quarter, 28 yards coming on the ground and 117 in the air.

Georgia was able to cut the Tigers' lead to seven on the first drive of the second quarter on a 50 yard pass from senior quarterback Joe Cox to sophomore flanker back Israel Troupe.

Sophomore Georgia cornerback caused the game's first turnover, intercepting a Todd pass late in the second quarter.

Todd went 15-18 for 172 yards in the first half with two touchdowns and one interception.

Senior running back Ben Tate led the Tigers in rushing, gaining 31 yards on 10 rush attempts.

Sophomore wide receiver Darvin Adams and junior running back Mario Fannin led the team in receptions with five each.

Adams gained 70 yards and Fannin 48.

Georgia will receive the ball to start the second half.
