The Auburn men's basketball team, led by seniors Frankie Sullivan and Rob Chubb, defeated in-conference opponent South Carolina Saturday, Jan. 12.
Chubb had a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double while Sullivan tacked on 17 points to lead the Auburn men's basketball team to a 74-71 victory against South Carolina.
The game was tight throughout and had 27 lead changes to prove it.
The Tigers were only 18 of 28 from the free throw line, but Chubb was 8 of 9 and nailed some late-game shots to help seal the game.
Freshman Brian Greene Jr. had a career-high 14 points and helped the team improve to 8-7 and 2-0 in the SEC.
The Tigers have not won their first two in-conference games since 2003 and improved their overall win streak to three.
Auburn will travel to Arkansas to face the 9-5 Razorbacks January 16.
