Auburn men in second through day three

Auburn came away from the third day of the SEC Swimming and Diving Championships with two medals Thursday, Feb. 21.

The men are currently in second place with 630.5 points after Florida extended their lead. The Gators sit atop the men's standings with 748 points while Georgia is in third with 549 points and Texas A&M sits in fourth with 426.5 points.

The women rose from seventh place to fifth, and carry a total of 353 points. The Georgia women maintain a commanding lead with 790 points.

Junior Olivia Scott won the silver medal in the 100-yard butterfly while John Santeiu took a bronze in the men's 3-meter diving event.

The fourth day of the competition begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. with prelims in the 100 meter back and breast and the 200 meter fly.
