Head football coach Gus Malzahn has hired former Carver-Columbus head coach Dell McGee to join the staff in an off-the-field position.
McGee played cornerback for Auburn during the '90s and was the Carver-Columbus head coach for the past eight years.
McGee is the second high school head coach in a week Malzahn has added to his staff.
Chip Lindsey, former head coach of Spain Park, accepted an off-the-field position from Malzahn Friday, Feb. 15.
Lindsey is the former offensive coordinator at Hoover, and led his Spain Park football team to a 10-3 record last season.
